IMMANUEL LUTHERAN
Pastors

Daniel Iwinski| Associate Pastor
Thank you for visiting our website. It has been my privilege to serve Immanuel since March of 2018. Previously I served congregations in Almond, Wisconsin; Moline, Illinois; and Burlington, Iowa.
I was raised nominally Roman Catholic and not Lutheran. I went through a period of my early adulthood as a lapsed Christian and was reconverted. I share this with you because if you are seeking a church home and have questions about faith and Christ and salvation I would love to talk to you about the good news of the gospel. I was where you may be today.
Our congregational family offers many opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship. I so very much hope that you will come and see what we have to offer.

David Spaude| Associate Pastor
Hi! I’m Pastor David Spaude. My wife Katie and I moved to Medford, WI in July, 2022 when I was installed as an associate pastor at Immanuel. Katie and I enjoy having discussions about the Bible and the Church (Christ’s body of people, who believe in Christ and love God and all people). We also like hiking and hunting together. I received my training to become a pastor through Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN (2011-2015: Bachelor of Arts with emphasis in Biblical Greek and Hebrew) and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, WI (2015-2019: Master of Divinity). I served for a few years as the pastor at Faith Lutheran Church, River Falls, WI before doing the Lord’s work at Immanuel.
This is not a full biography of me because I’d love to share the rest with you in person. We might even get to talk about Jesus together, who is the solution to our sin. We all have sinned (Romans 3:23). Our sin deserves death, but we have eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23). Thanks be to God, who in the person of Jesus didn’t leave our sin problem unfinished, but he lived in this world, suffered and died on that cross where he said, “It is finished!” (Greek: Tetelestai!) (John 19:30). In other words, he completed his work to save us. He has been raised from the dead (1 Cor 15:20) and we have the promise that whoever believes in him will have eternal life! (John 3:16).
