Immanuel Lutheran School currently serves pre-K 3 and pre-K 4 grades, sharing God’s Word with these little people everyday.  

HOURS: Pre-K 3: M-TH 8:15-11:30 AM

                Pre-K 4: M-F 8:00 AM-3:00 PM

                Wrap Around Care: M-Th 11:30 AM-5 PM/Fri. 7:45 AM-5 PM  

Susan M. Hornung | 3K and 4K

I have been privileged to have served at Immanuel Lutheran School for over 35 years. I am
currently teaching the three and four year olds. I enjoy helping children grow in knowledge both
spiritually and academically. I currently live in Merrill with my husband and pets. I have three
grown daughters and seven grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family and pets,
gardening, sewing, reading, traveling, and riding in my husband’s race car. One of my favorite
Bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and
a future.

Morgan Routhieaux |Wrap Around Care

I serve as the wrap around teacher at Immanuel Lutheran School. My first
call was to Immanuel. I was raised in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. I met my husband, Michael, while attending high school at Southern Door. Upon graduation, I studied education at Martin Luther College while he served in the US Navy in Guam. We married in 2019 and moved to Medford after I received my call. I enjoy spending
time reading, hiking, taking road trips, and learning to quilt and sew. I have recently taken up
golf as well. One day I hope to learn a new language and to travel to all 50 states. My go to
Bible verse is also my confirmation verse: Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ,
who strengthens me.

Paula Klemm | Secretary/Receptionist/Teacher Aid

II previously worked as an in-home daycare provider, and love to be around children and help them learn and
grow. I also was looking for something with some office work as well, so this position was the perfect
opportunity for me, and it was perfect timing. The best part, it is in a Christian setting. I was actually the school secretary here at Immanuel 21 years ago, when both my sons were in school here. I was a teacher aide at the public school for 4 years, and also volunteered here at Immanuel helping in the classroom for a couple of years. I have been married for almost 33 years and have 2 sons, a daughter in law and 2 granddaughters. I love all sports, but mostly enjoy football. I'm a huge Packer, Badger, and Brewer fan. I love all kinds of music and love to sing. I collect clowns and vintage pins. My favorite bible verse is – Psalm 18:32 “It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.
