ILS SCRIP
"Scrip" is used as a gift certificate which can be purchased Sunday mornings between services or during the week from Cathy Doman, the church secretary. Donna Goodman visits local business to purchase these gift cards and certificates in advance, which allows Immanuel Lutheran School to keep a percentage of the sale of the gift card or certificate. For instance, a $25 County Market gift card is purchased for $25, Immanuel keeps 4% of $25, or $1, of which $.50 can be used towards tuition of a student at Immanuel or the general operating budget of the school. The value to you at County Market is $25 plus Immanuel is given a donation by County Market.
These gift cards or certificates are available Sundays between services: County Market, McDonalds, Happy Joes, Medford Cafe, Mirage Hair Design, Florenas, Phil & Eleanors and The High View. Other gift cards or certificates are available by order using the Scrip Form |
